Welcome Back! I can't believe another summer has come and gone! I am very excited for this year! The cost for Breakfast is _______  The cost for Lunch is ____ 
The salad Bar will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Every child Pre-K - 6th grade will be able to eat from there.  
There will be 3 options for lunch this year.  Everyday your child will be able to select Peanut butter sandwich with string cheese or the other 2 options that are on the menu.  Extra peanut butter sandwiches will be $.50 per half sandwich 
At Breakfast I will always have a variety of Whole grain Cereals, and granola bars.

Lunch: Pizza, or deli meat and cheese sandwich,  baby carrots and celery, applesauce and milk

Lunch:  Tator tot hotdish with Bread or deli meat and cheese sandwich, steamed carrots, pineapple, and milk

Lunch: Hot dog and/or Mac and Cheese, mix veggies, fruit pouch, and milk
+Breakfast is changing for a reimbursable meal: now there will always be 4 items offered at Breakfast; a student will have to take 3 out of the 4 for it to be counted as a meal. But they can have all 4 items...
+ Protein is now an option and not required, therefore protein will only be offered about once a week, and the reason for this so I can stay within my calorie count for each day and weekly
+ I will be able to have one menu for K-12 and my calories will need to stay between 450-500
** Please remember if you haven't filled out paper work to see if you qualify for free our reduced meals please do so! We get more funding from the state and we also can apply for more grants if we have a higher number of free and reduced.  Stop by the office and pick one up or contact Nancy in the office

Peanutbutter sandwich .25

Extracondiments .25  Students may only take ranch or French if it is part of the planned menu.  it will be posted if so.  If they take ranch or French for a dip for their veggies or entrée it will be .25 per scoop/ 1oz.  This will be on the salad bar so please talk to your kids so they know and you won't be charged.  they may have French or ranch IF they are having a lettuce salad as their vegetable option but only 1oz if they take more they will be charged.  the Scoop that is in the French and ranch is a 1oz scoop.

k-2 will have the option of all items on the salad bar this year.
Peanut butter will not be served daily only when it is a planned menu item
