Everyone have a safe and fun summer and we will see you all next fall! I will be back mid October as I will be on materity leave, but you may still contact me if you have any questions regarding lunch!
** if any questions about your lunch bill or charges PLEASE feel free to call me or email at rebecca.johnson@ivanhoe.lincolnhi.org
**With the new lunch program I want to remind you that- yes your child may have basically as many vegetables as they will eat but it is only one fruit.  They will be charged an extra .40 if they take another fruit.  The reason being, is that, Fruit has added sugars in them- and as I know fruit is good for you- we still want kids to be taking their veggies and not only fruit.
** Exciting news** Lincoln HI- Ivanhoe is now in Compliance for the new meal pattern under the USDA 2010 Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act!! The school now gets an additional .6 cents per meal.

** Please remember if you haven't filled out paper work to see if you qualify for free our reduced meals please do so! We get more funding from the state and we also can apply for more grants if we have a higher number of free and reduced.  Stop by the office and pick one up or contact Nancy in the office
