I have been a teacher in Lincoln HI's mathematics department since 2000. Before teaching in Ivanhoe, I taught math and computer for seven years in Rutland, SD. I attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN for two years.  Graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA with a BA in Art and from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD with a BA in Math.

I live on Fish Lake which is northwest of Hendricks, just one mile into South Dakota. My husband, John, is a rural mail carrier in Brookings. Our two children are in college now, so we share our house with two golden retrievers named Siri and Rasmus, and two cats named Isabelle and Winter.
